I Got It From My Momma!!

So yesterday, I spent pretty much all day standing in our kitchen prepping meals for the up coming week.
All the recipes I followed are from the Good Cheap Eats book.

I'm making 5 meals this coming week and they are ready to be cooked. I didn't cook anything before hand, except for the chicken for the chicken black bean and rice soup. I boiled the chicken legs in water with garlic, carrots, celery, and half an onion so that I got some chicken stock for the week as well. It turned out very well.

Three Jars of Chicken stock for soup and making rice this week.

I also got out the bread machine and made some amish white bread. It turned out so fluffy and good. I had some toast this morning and the slice of bread was a tad bit too big for the toaster. That's good bread right there.

As for the other meals, I made my own "Rice a Roni" jars, (one cup of rice with all the seasonings I need for the meal).
And also made my own "Shake-n-Bake" for tonight's dinner.

I've got vegetables cut and ready to go, and everything measured out.
I feel very accomplished. And also, I have missed doing stuff like this. I used to when I lived at home and was first married. But after a few years, and after having to work three jobs at a time, I've just fallen out of routine and just forgotten how much fun I had doing prep work and making sure that the pantry is full of ready to go meals and what not's.

Chopped and measured out, ready to be cooked.

The Green Beans already have olive oil and seasoning on them, ready to be roasted in the oven!

Beef, Chicken, and more vegetables in the freezer.

Not pictured is my sourdough starter! I'm very excited about this, I love sourdough bread and rolls. I'm a bit nervous at how it will turn out, but the recipe and instructions seem simple enough.
You can get all the recipes I am using from the Good Cheap Eats book, and also the blog .

My momma got me this book for Christmas, and I've been using it everyday sense then.

 Happy Sunday.

Living...

As 2017 draws to a close, Everyone is setting their "New Years Resolutions".

-Go to the guy-Be healthy in some new fad-ish way-Find inner peace-Forgive and Forget-

Blah-Blah-Blah...

It's all excuses, all fake. I'm sorry, but, NO ONE Keeps Their Resolutions. I never did. I never will.

But, I'll tell you what I will do...

I'm going to keep being myself!

I'm going to take care of myself-Love myself-Accept myself-I'm going to TRY!

Try to be more positive-try to be more accepting-try to be more forgiving-try to me more-ME!

This is a resolution that everyone and their mothers should set. But let's not call it a resolution, let's call it... LIVING.

Because that's what it is! That's what we all should be doing-Living.

~Don't be so busy trying to make a living that you forget to LIVE~

So, 2018, Let's all just get along and live our lives.

It Has Begun!!!!

 Good Saturday Morning To You!

Well, It's started. I ordered a GED practice book a few days ago and I am now on the path to finally getting my GED and possibly taking the ACT and starting some Online Classes.
I'm so nervous about this. I was never very good at taking tests, or sitting down for lessons. Hopefully Josh will be patient with me as I go through this small struggle of anxiety, self doubt, and worrisome sleep. But I know it's for the best and that no matter the outcome of all of this, I will have tried my best and it is going toward something I've been wanting to do for a very long time.
I am so grateful for Josh when I made the decision, He supported my ideas and dreams, and has offered to help me in any way. I also have some amazing friends who are saying that they are so proud of me and believe in me.
I'm wanting all of this time and effort to go towards getting a degree in Early Childhood Education. I've always wanted to work with children, from day one to pre-k. I'm enjoying my job very much and seeing and hearing this kids learn new words and skills, it just melts my heart.
I'm almost 27 years old. It's time I do something for myself and my future along the lines of education.

So...

Be ready for some posts where I may say things like, I Can't Do This! I'm So Stressed and Confused.

But also be ready for some posts where I might say, I DID IT!! THIS IS HAPPENING!!

I'm scared, nervous, excited, happy and ready for this to begin.

 Many Blessings.

It's not always easy...

Working a 40 hour work week, that is 4, 10 hour days for me. 5, 9 hour days for Josh. Yes the pay checks are worth it, paying our bills, going grocery shopping, and getting some random things for my class room. But at the same time, I'm missing my afternoons off most days. Being able to sit down for a few hours and do a craft or a panting. Work out in the yard, or call a friend. Take a bubble bath.
Now more than ever I am wishing I had a few more afternoons to myself to get school things done. Cut out the pieces of a craft for the kids to glue, finish coloring and putting together the bulletin board art. Write up and print out welcome and information letters to send home to the parents sense I can't always stay and talk to them. (I also feel odd adding them on facebook...)
Just an afternoon or two to get caught up on some things. I also feel like I am slacking on house work as well. The yard needs mowed, the floors need swept, food needs prepped, and the cats need attention.
But going into this job and life style, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. That's why I have Josh. He actually helps out when I need it. He also seems to know when we just need a day to be lazy and watch tv or go horse back riding.
He likes to watch me print off craft pages for the kids and work on them myself. He is amazing. Sometime he encourage me to get my butt in gear and get things done, but afterwards he sets me free. "Thank you helping with the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen! Go take a bath and read!!" He knows that I need space sometimes. And I Love Him For That.

 Now...
Being a Teacher for One Year Olds!!
That is a tough job. They don't quite get how to follow some directions. Like...
*Put the Triangle on the Glue...
*Pick up our toys so we can have Breakfast...
*Shhh.... be quiet your friends are still napping...
I am trying to find some crafts and work sheets that they can do, with my help.
I am also finding that I am gaining a lot of patience working with these toddlers. And drinking my coffee at record speeds! :)
But you know. I wouldn't trade my job for any other. Yes waitressing got me quick cash, and bartending was fun. But these kids.
When they smile and come running to me to give me a hug, or pat my back and tell me it's ok while I'm sitting on the floor crying. They light up my world. It's not always easy...
 But, It's Worth It.

Wish all this said, does anyone out there know of any good blogs, forums, web sites.... that have good ideas for One Year Olds? I'm looking for printables and downloads, and even places where I can chat with other teachers and get tips and help.
Any advice is great as well.

Many Blessings!

My Life As It Is...

As I sit, eating cheddar broccoli soup from a coffee mug, in my new kitchen, in my new home (not apartment, HOME) I can't help to feel a little home sick. Home sick for the days when mom would have a baking day and Allison and I would sit and watch Little House on The Prairie as it snowed out side.
I miss being home sometimes. But at the same time, I am in absolute love with the life I have here in North East Arkansas.

I am the lead teacher in my one year old class at the learning center. I have a wonderful boyfriend who went out of his way to get us a house to share. He makes sure the bills are paid and that there is always enough money for us to spend on a date night once a week. Now that we have the house, I'm going to start gardening again, and maybe even sell at the farmers market. Who knows, maybe I'll become good friends with some people at the farmers market that I can talk them into coming to the learning center and talking to the kids about home grown food.

I'm also looking into starting a sensory garden for the school as well. I hared of them while at a seminar. The lady who was speaking had talked about how her son who has autism, had done very well with the garden they started in their back yard. He would go into sensory over-load with the lest bit of change, so the garden introduced change in a healthy way for him to cope. I would love to start a flower garden with my class and show the kids how to be gentle and use soft touches with the flowers, and how to care for them and not just rip them up. Then I'll move on to vegetables.
I have so many great ideas for my class, but like many teachers out there, I really don't have the time or the means to make my ideas happen. But I'm slowly getting there.

Now, I'm sure you are wondering. "When did you get a House!?"
At the begging of the year, Josh and I started to look at some homes, and get an idea of what we could afford. As we were looking at some homes, we came upon a new subdivision in the town were the learning center is, and we fell in love! We were able to build and customize our house, pick the colors, the style, a jetted tub, carpet, hardwood floors... everything was picked out by us. I am so happy with our home. I'll work on uploading some pictures. Our back yard is big enough for maybe 4-6 garden boxes, and we are even looking into getting a green house! I'm very excited for the green house. Next summer I plan on going full force into back yard gardening again. I'm hopping momma can come down and help me out and maybe even grandma Joanne. I do need to start doing more research on gardening in the south. Like when to start certain plants, what type of veggie would do best in the excessive heat, how to harvest and store the plants. So I may become friends with the extension office at the college. And, I'm ok with that.

Other than teaching and being a home owner. Not much else has been going on. No word on engagements or marriage for Josh and I. Not yet anyways. And that's ok. I'm fine just being with him and learning about each-other and going on adventures.
We did got to Florida last September. I got to see the Magical World of Harry Potter!!! I was like a little kid again. I bought so much candy. I would love to go again, and get more wands, and maybe some clothing items. But I would also love to go to the beach again.

This summer is about the house. We are new to mortgage payments, so we decided to stay home and work on saving up. And I'm ok with that.

Right now we are planning out our holiday vacations. We might be going to North Carolina to see his dad for Thanksgiving, then Ohio to see my family for Christmas.

With that said, I'm out of things to talk about. I will work on getting some house pictures up, and that is all for now.

 Many Blessings.

Dreams do Come True!!

Well, it's finally happening. I may get to be a daycare/preschool teacher!!!
I'm so very excited. I can't wait to start this new chapter in my career life. I'll be working 4, 10 hour days, from 6 am to about 6 pm. The position that is open that I could possibly fill is working with the 1 year olds. I honestly couldn't describe how happy and excited I am for this opportunity. I'm just so happy. I also may be teaching a new friend how to crochet a blanket for her fiance, and we went to go get some yarn and a crochet hook for her today.
I never knew what was to come of my life when I decided to stay in Arkansas. I just figured I would continue to waitress and work at the bakery until I got married again and had kids. But now.... My Dream Of Becoming A Teacher Is Coming True!!! I am just so, so, so happy. Wish me luck on my working interview on Monday and keep me in your prayers.
 ~Blessings~

No Work Today!!

What do I do on my days off?
Laundry,
Sweep and Mop the floors,
Clean the Bathroom,
Make the Bed,
Clean the Kitchen,
Clean the Dinning Room,
Clean the Living Room,
Unpack all the boxes that have not been unpacked yet,
Find Places for all My stuff with out taking up too much room,
and,
Work out.
All the while, play with the cat,
make lunch and dinner,
listen to music,
do yoga,
maybe call a family member or two.
Yup, I'm pretty busy on my days off, and I kick myself if I don't get anything done. I'm just weird like that. I hate messes, and even clutter. My room, that's my room so what ever, but the living room, dinning room, kitchen, I hate to see clutter. If I had a busy day at work, and I come home to stuff every where and a mess, You can bet I'll have an anxiety attach. I'm becoming more and more like my momma everyday. And that's a pretty good thing.
I don't mind spending my days off like this. I'm going to get some gardening stuff this weekend, and make some garden boxes for salad and herbs.
I'm also working a story entry for my friends website, a story about the number one turning point in my life.
I'm having some troubles with it though, because essay writing was not a strong point in my school, but I'm writing from my heart, and that's all that matters right?!
Well I've got to get some lunch heated up for when Josh comes home for his lunch. Also have another load of laundry to do.
Have a wonderful day.
Many Blessings.

Wanderlust

When I was little, I never thought much of the ocean.
It was big, dark, wet, scary, filled with strange creatures. The things my nightmares were made of. I am afraid of water, well, water I cannot see in. Dark, cold water. If I can't see the bottom, I wont go in.
Well, when I went to California back in 2012, I was excited to see someplace new. Though we didn't do much other than sleep, eat and lay on the beach, it was still an adventure for me. But the ocean... Oh That Ocean.
I couldn't see the end of it, and it was so dark, I was frightened, yet, mesmerized. Here I was, Just a dot, seeing for the first time how big this world was. I was awestruck. I teared up, I looked to the heavens and said, this is bigger than how much you love me?! This, as far as the East is from the West? From one horizon to the other. I was just, awestruck.
After we returned back to our daily lives, I was hooked. I always thought of the ocean, of the waves. The sound of the water rushing over the shore, the gulls crying in the air. The warmth of the sun reflecting off the white sand. Children giggling in the foam and seaweed. I longed to go back.
It wouldn't be until 3 years later that I would go back. Not to the same beach or part of the ocean. But back to a beach and see the ocean from a different point of view.
In May 2015, I went to Florida with my dad, little sister and her best friend. We went to swim with the manatees in Crystal River, then made our way from north to south then back up, all along the coast. The waters in Florida were clear, and a beautiful teal color that I cannot unsee. The sand was softer, The sun was warmer. My heart was better. This was a vacation I needed after my divorce. I was so unsettled, and my soul was restless. That was when I found out for the first time what Wanderlust felt like.
I was being drawn to go somewhere I have never been, nor ever thought of going. To be someplace new, meet new people, to just be new again. And I am better for it.

Never in a million years would I have ever thought I would put on a wet suit, go out on a boat at 6 o'clock in the morning, plunge into a cold fresh water river, and put my face under water and come face to face with the most adorable creature I've yet to meet, and touch it and almost ride on it as it swam underneath me and rose to the surface. I was terrified. My heart rate went sky high, my breathing was irregular, and I had the biggest smile on my face when my sister pulled my hand over to squishy, hairy boulder just inches in front of her. I reached for Lydias hand and did the same, when we all looked up at eachother, I couldn't tell if it was just water, or tears of joy, but the smiles we shared, and I was so thankful for my daddy. He paid for all of this, drove all night, woke us up, and was just as happy as we were. Just remembering all of this has me worked up.
And I'm Longing To Go Back.

Growing up, I always thought I was named after The Little Mermaid. We looked alike. Skinny, long red hair, could sing pretty well. But I couldn't swim to save my life. But I do like some water. Pools, baths, hottubs, streams. If I could see and touch the bottom, I was fine. The sound of running water soothes me. Feeling it wash over my skin, like it's washing all the bad in the world away is the best feeling in the world to me. But the Ocean. Those waves, will kill me. I got washed away in a wave in California. Was rolled and flipped, I didn't know which way was up or down. I panicked. I cried, I prayed. I even sent an I Love You to my family in my mind, thinking I wasn't going to make it back to the beach. But luckily, I floated, and made my way back. That was the first and last time I ever went into the water.

But, In Florida. Allison and I went out so far, the people on the beach looked like dots. We didn't realize this. We just kept walking and talking and watching our feet and looking for seastars and fish.
When we looked up, the water was up to our chins and only one thought came to mind for me, SHARKS! Time to go back, and quickly, I said to her and we swam, and laughed, and rode waves like we were mermaids. Smiles on our faces. Lydia thought we were crazy and dad did his, I should be upset with you but I just can't be cause look how happy you are, laugh. And we all sat together and watched the sunset over the water.

This winter I have wanderlust so bad, I can't sit still. I keep looking at all my pictures of my adventures from summer, and I am just beside myself I didn't do more. I didn't travel further. That I am living in an apartment instead of a pull around camper and seeing the world.
I do like my apartment and warm soft bed. I love being with Josh, and my job. But OH THE WANDERLUST!!

The Warm Sun...

 The Colors...

I have made a promise to myself, that this summer, I would go somewhere new.
A Dessert, A Snow Capped Mountain, A Muggy Rainforest.
              ANYWHERE!
As long as it was new, I was going to go.
But for now, I have the memories, and those will do.

Many Warm Blessings To You.

Feeling... Not Good Enough.

Ever have those days where you just don't feel like you're good enough?
I have. A lot. Pretty much every day of my life.
Yeah, I can cook, yes I can take care of a small child or a 600 pound horse. But, I didn't learn that in a class room.
I was pulled from the public school system before I started fourth grade. My mom and I fought tooth and nail over school work. Both of us in tears by the end of the day and not one step closer to me knowing how to simplify fractions.
Instead we went to the unschool approach. Not a bad choice, but maybe not the best in the long run. I barely made it through high school with all my sanity and some basic form of knowledge. But I wasn't ready for college. I never took the GED or SAT or ACT. I always looked at colleges, almost had myself enrolled once, I was going to surprise everyone, then, I just didn't. I didn't feel smart enough.
"maybe I just like the IDEA of college."
Well I do. But what the heck would I do? As I'm sure you can tell by reading this, my grammer, spelling, and pretty much English skills are lacking. I can't do quick math in my head with out having a panic attack. And science.... Let's just say, No.
So what is there? Art, you need to take art history. Ok, oh and calculus, bio chemistry, know how to take apart a small twin engine plane, and Latin.
How about, Early Childhood Education! You need to be certified in C.P.R., know how to fly a jet, solve Einstein's Theory of Relativity, and how to deal with parents who don't know a darn thing about being a parent but somehow are so much better than any one else when it comes to kids.
So, I'm just not cut out for this.
I don't want to work in a corporate office, or be a medical surgeon.
I just want, to feel like, I'm enough.
I'm not into politics much. I don't even know where to begin to understand the presidential election. I'm not too big on talking religion with someone who is so closed minded that I just get pissed and want to cram the bible in their ear and hope the message sticks.
I know nothing about technology. So don't even try.
I see this video of this little three year old who memorized the periodic table of elements and here I am, struggling to fill out my resume to find a second job.
I'm just not good enough.
Anything I can do, won't pay my bills.
I've tried to start my own business. But while I'm waithing for that to take off, I have to work three jobs to pay rent.
All I've ever wanted to do with my life, was have a small homestead. Just an acre or two. Just big enough for a garden, some small farm animals, and my children. And be a good mother.
But, here I am. 25 divorced, and having to barrow money from my boyfriend to pay my rent and other bills.
Yeah, maybe I should have gone home after my divorce, lived with my dad and sister. But, I had to prove to myself I could do this on my own. And just when I thought I was making it, was coming out on top, BAM!, life just sucker punched me so hard, then took all my lunch money.
Story of my life right there.
I couldn't even celebrate my birthday with out worrying how I was going to pay the bills.
As always, it's winter, and I've got the blues.
The subject of me maybe going to school came up at my birthday dinner and it's been weighing on me ever sense.
I just honestly don't know what to do. Maybe go get my gen-eds out of the way, but then what? There are job opportunities after that. I've seen all my friends go to college and not get a job in the degree they have. My Ex for one example. It only took him three years to get degree in business, then one year to get a master's in business management. But, he is no where near where he wants to be. He found himself stuck, and just decided oh well.
I don't want to end up like that. If I go to college and graduate, I want to be able to transition into a job that I studied for. I would hate to be the alternative and have wasted all that time and money to just be stuck.
But, I guess these are just reasons. Me trying to talk myself out of the idea. Or so I've been told.
I'm smart. Just not college smart. So far I've been ok with that, but it seems more and more you have to have a college degree to even make friends.
I just don't know what to do or where to start.
I do need help and guidance. But I also feel pushed and forced into this.
I'm just not feeling good enough.

Good Morning

Well good morning my fellow rays of sunshine. How are you?
I'm doing well today. I was up at 7:45am, dressed and ready for the day by 8:45am. Mostly because I had to take my handsome Josh a different shirt to wear at work because the one he had on was too small. I guess it's about time to go through the closet and drawers to weed through the outdated, too small clothes and make a list of what needs to be replaced.
I plan on taking all the unwanted, decent clothes to the homeless shelter, as well as some hats, gloves, and scarves.
I'm also wanting to take some cat, and dog treats/food to the animal shelter. I've been to the local animal shelter a few times now and those loving pets need homes so badly, I cry every time I remind myself we can't take them. Though I really wish I could.
But , aside from being in a giving mood. I'm doing well in my new life. I'm still dating Josh, and we are very happy, going on 10 months on the 14th. I'm working hard at the bakery, and learning new things. I've been cooking, crafting, and painting.
So , yeah. I'm pretty happy. Trying to keep busy and keep myself from getting the winter blues and cabin fever. It has not snowed yet here in North Eastern Arkansas. But, it is cold. So cold that my car door lock was frozen. I was almost late to work because of that.

Other than all that was said, I'm not up to very much. My birthday is coming up soon. I'm planning a surprise party for Josh for his birthday. And that's about it.

Oh! I did have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas. And new years was a blast as well.

Well that's about it for today.

Many Blessings to you and stay warm.

Happy New Years Eve!

 Again, It's been a while.
I've been, as usual, busy. I got a new job at Cupcake shop. GiGi's Cupcakes. You know you've heard of it, www.gigiscupcakesusa.com .
 Anyways.
I quit Olive Garden. Too much stress for no pay. Now I'm working up to 8 hours at GiGi's. Up at 4-5am, home by 12-1ish pm.
It's got me busy. But I'm learning to manage my time there and at home.
I'm starting to do some meal plans for the weeks/month to help with shopping and eating better for the new year. Josh and I have made a deal to start eating better and work out.
I'm excited to see what this new year has to bring. I've been doing ok so far. Making enough money to pay bills and still have some money left over to either put towards the next month (which is what I usually do) or spend (which is what I want to do).
Well that's about it for now.
Blessings.

From the Bottom of My Heart

Being self conscious problem... Only. Wanting to work out and get fit and feel good, worried someone will  see me. Wanting to lay out and bask in the sun, worried someone will see me. Wanting to wear the crop top I bought two summers ago, never wear it cause someone is sure to see me.
This is a real problem with me and it's hindering. I can't even go work out with just Josh cause I don't want to be seen. I'm not strong. So I feel stupid when I try to work out at a gym cause I have everything on a low setting. I want to run but I guess the way I run is funny looking cause people stare. I don't want to be stared at. I just want... to be free of my own mind sometimes. To just shut the little voice off (the one that always says... they see you. You look funny to them. Just go home) I want to be free of this but I can't. It's all me. Yes it's me being embarrassed. No it's not a body issue. It's all mental to me. My thoughts keep me from doing things I want to do. I can't even go places alone cause I'm afraid of... people I guess. Seeing me alone. Judging me alone. Yes listening to music helps. Blocks out the world around me but it doesn't stop what's going on inside my head. So please don't go on about, you're beautiful. Love your body. Don't worry.
It's not a self image problem.
It's a fear of new things and looking like a damn fool. thing.
Yes I'm pretty. I get that. Yes I'm skinny. But that's not my problem. :( its so hard to communicate what it is exactly. It's just me I guess. Being hard on myself.

Were To Begin?!

Why Hello there.
How are you?
I have so much to tell you and I'm just not sure where to begin.

Well how about here...

September of 2014, my parents got divorced. I wont say why because that's not my story to tell. But it was still hard on my sisters and me. Thanksgiving and Christmas were the hardest ever, and even harder for me because my own husband wasn't there to support me or help me cope. He told me it was none of our business, what was going on in my families lives and we should just ignore them. Ummm, I'm thinking, No. They are my family and I'm going to go home for the holidays and help them through this.
Well, New Years rolled along and nothing got better between me and Chris. We argued all the time, and if we were not arguing we were not talking at all. Just passing ships in the night and it was around February that I decided that we were no longer married to each other. Not for the right reasons anyways. We fought some more so we just got divorced ourselves because I couldn't take the fighting anymore. Ever sense our wedding day we had fights. I was over it.
Looking back as I sat in the court room listing to the Judge drone on, I figured that ever sense August of 2014 we have not really been 'with' each other. Just together. And sense that time we fought nonstop.
So, I am no longer married as of April 30, 2015. But I was not a part of my husbands life sense August 2014.
It didn't take me long to get over the shock of him getting the papers and making me sign my name. I just went to work, talked to friends, and went about life.
So it didn't surprise me at all when I caught the attention of a young man who, now has helped me out of a bad situation and got me back on my feet with a smile on my face and love in my heart.
Yes we are dating now. I know it may seem soon, but if it wasn't for this guy, I would be stuck in a predicament that was not ideal or even legal. (had to get roommates after Chris moved out and turned out they were druggies and I couldn't live with that)
My life has been up and down sense 2014, but I can say now that I am happy as a clam and just so joyful that Josh has come into my life.

He is kind of my good luck charm. He encouraged to apply for a job at Olive Garden and that day I got an interview and was hired on the spot. He is helping me with my finances and even helped me pay my rent last month. I owe him alot.
Please, Do not judge me for moving on so quickly after my divorce. Hear me out, My Marriage was not ideal. He did not love me for who I was. I quickly saw that after saying I DO. I should have said no. We moved to Missouri, I made new friends, he didn't. He was always home jealous and pouty if I went out and had fun. He chose to stay in. It wasn't my place to make him do anything. But if he did go out with me he never had anything nice to say to my friends, or even to me.
I did get tattoos, I've been talking about getting one for years, and I finally got one. He hated it and even me for getting it. I know we were married, but it's my body. It's nothing bad... here see for yourself,

The Dream Catcher,
Is on my Right Shoulder Blade.
My family is part Cherokee Indian, I'm very much in-tune with my Native American Side and also... my sisters and I all have dreams. Mom too. Like we dream something and then in real life something very similar happens. It's hard to explain, but, yea. So the Dream Catcher. My grandpa Tony used to take us girls to Pow-Wows alot when we were little. So in a way this tattoo is for him and the family I long to see again one day.

 The Anti-Possession Charm.
Is on my front Left Hip.
Ok, so this one. Yes it look satanic. But it's really not. When I was a little girl and dad worked third shift, he would wake up from his midday sleep to come watch Goosebumps with me on tv. It was a daily thing for us. After that we always watched scary movies together on the weekends. Then Supernatural came on tv and that was our thing. Every Thursday night at Eight p.m. we would pop popcorn and sit in the dark living room and watch our scary show. This Charm is from Supernatural and dad plans on getting a matching one. It's a daddy daughter tattoo. and I love it.

 The Mermaid Scales.
Are on my upper outside right thigh.
My name, Arielle, people often call me Ariel, Josh and all his friends call me Mermaid. I was the little mermaid for years for halloween. I will be one this year. This has been a nick name for me for many years, why not embrace it. I plan on adding more scales as soon as I save up enough money. :)

Now, not so bad. Chris thought other wise. Oh well. Our fights... were not so good at times. Lots of yelling, shouting, screaming, crying, door slamming, it wasn't pretty. He raised a hand to me once, I dared him. Then one night he shoved me and I was done. No more. I will not go into that world. A world where there are no more words just bruises and tears. I was done. We looked for help, found none. Prayed, lead us here.

Now, I'm done explaining myself to you. If you wish to judge me, then remember, Only God Can. The way I see it, We were heading to a very bad place in our marriage and I got out before it got worse. I do not wish for book sized comments on how we could have worked it out, gone to a church, gotten help. We tried. Nothing worked. Even doing an evening devotional would stir up a fight. We were not a good match. So, don't judge me for being afraid of being beaten and hurt. I chose my battles well. And ended a bad thing before any children were brought into it.
Oh, I do wish I had a child though. I long for a baby of my own. But all in due time I guess.

I'm on an adventure now. Going to start traveling. Going new places. Meeting new people. My life is starting over and I couldn't be happier.

Mom and I are so much stronger now on our own. I miss seeing her every weekend, I miss her when I stay at the house when I visit, but, we are so much better now. So happy.

FIND THAT WHICH MAKES YOU HAPPY!!

Well I don't quite know where to go from here.

I have a cat!! His name is Gigabit.

He's bigger now, about 4 lbs. 4 1/2 months old. But he is my baby. I love him so much.

Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm off to make dinner.

Many Blessings to You my Dear Devoted Reader.

Girl Under Construction

So much has happened in the past year,

I'm putting myself under construction. As well as the Blog.

Not sure where to begin, but I'll have this blog up and running again soon.

I'm sorry for being away for so long and keeping you my dear readers out of the loop.

As for Caitydid Creations.... I'll start that back up again soon as well.

Check back in to see new pictures along the side bar, and for posts about what has happened in my life sense last may.

Warning... some of it is pretty deep, and we may cry together.

 Also,

Some Prayer is greatly needed right now. I've been a bit lost and feeling kind of... broken. So maybe just a prayer for courage, and peace,

 Good news though,

I get to move into my new apartment this Thursday, and I can't tell you how Happy and Excited I am about that. (story to come as to why it's MY apartment and why I'm so happy about it)

Like I said, it's been one Hell of year and past 5 months. I'll be back to tell you all about it soon.

Much Love and Many Blessings to you My Dearest Readers.

~*In*The*Garden*~

Well I am not able to do a big garden box this planting season like I was planning, due to the fact that we moved, and only have a 4x7' porch off of our kitchen.
I am, however, doing my container planting. I've got some things started and I'm slowly adding more.
Right now I've got some Lettuce sprouts, Bush Beans, Carrots and Turnips. I've also got some Shasta Daisies going. Would you like to see my little garden?!

My Salad Container.
Got the Dirt and Container from Dollar Tree Momma got them for My Easter Basket. :)

Carrots and Turnips. I need to thin them out and add more dirt/seeds.
We had a heavy rain after I planted them and forgot to add holes to the bottom of the container and most of the dirt flooded out. Oops.

Bush Beans/Green Beans.
The little round plant in front of the beans is a House Plant clipping Momma gave me. He is doing well. :)

Daisy!!!!

I checked on my "friends" this morning and noticed that my beans look a little Burnt?!. Is there anyone out there who can help me with this problem? I water my plants in the mornings when needed. And they get morning sun. We have a South facing apartment, and the kitchen/back porch face east while the living room faces the west. So my plants get part sun. It has been warm and humid here. I think mid 80's so far. But is there a way to fix my bean plants?

Feel free to comment if you have any ideas or advice on what to do about my poor little beans.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am so far. We just got back from a trip back home for my dear friends wedding. It was beautiful. Out doors at Fort Ancient, the bride (my friend) was barefoot, vegan, Wonderful!!

Me and the Lovely Bride!!! (Photo Bombed by the Groom)

As we where home, daddy and Chris took a look at the car, it was making a grinding noise. So they took off all the tires to check the breaks, and low and behold, the rear tire break drum was broke. We drove 500+ miles with a broken break! So it got fixed. As the "boys" were working on the car, I helped Momma and my little sister work in the garden and around the house.

Fixing the Breaks.

I hear Clucking.....

New Laying Hens for Momma and Alli. :)

Patches getting her Vit. D.

Momma, Bynx, Me
Well that's about it. You never really know what will happen/be going on when you go home for a visit. But it's always a good visit.

 Have a wonderful, blessed day.
